Mosaic District Studio

Ensure this is right for you, if so you will LOVE it! Positive: My 5 night stay at Bacso Apartment was in October 2026. I will be back! I loved this very comfy, clean and warm apt in a super handy area of the city. Now the building itself might initially seem a bit off putting, wheelie bins in the foyer (but where else could they go) and an old old building showing signs of wear and tear and a lift that comes right out of hammer house of horrors (however, very reliable), stepping out on the balcony of the second floor, it has a real gothic feel to the place. On entering the actual apt though, all that dust and crumbling floors just disappears, it is beautifully kept and provides everything you need. The value is outstanding. Now if you are more used to the Sheraton or super shiny spa hotels, this probably is not for you but the character of the place provides more value than any flashy hotel. There is a plethora of cafe's and restaurants around and a few steps from the front door is the metro that is one stop from the main public travel hub of Kalvin Ker. I will give this 10 stars but it is not a 5 star hotel. If you want excellent value for money, a convenient base, cleanliness, warmth and a cosy vibe you have it in the bucketload. Everything works well, cooker, washing machine, shower, TV -(smart TV just connect your mobile to your fave channel) I liked it so much that on my next trip to Budapest, I will confirm travel dates around the availability of this apartment. Bed is super comfy too! Negative: Nothing could of been better for the price, a true diamond in the rough.

Small basic studio with good facilities perfect for short stay in Budapest. Positive: Tamas was a lovely host and it was test that he spoke English so fluently.

great stay Positive: Mostly lcation, also the apartment was very pretty. The iron defintely came in handy. Kitchen was well equipped :) Negative: no light above the kitchen counter:(
